Juice Maker

Eathai serves traditional Thai food in Bahrain. Our kitchens are run by Thai chefs, our recipes are not adapted, and every venue is fully halal. We are hiring a Juice Maker for the juice counter at our Seef and Isa Town branches.

The job

You run the juice and cold-drinks counter. Fresh juices, mocktails, Thai iced tea and smoothies, made to recipe, at speed, without letting the quality slip. Your fruit is fresh, your station is clean, and orders go out right the first time.

What you will do

• Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails and Thai iced tea to our recipes and presentation standards

• Wash, peel, cut and prepare fruit and garnishes before service

• Keep juicers, blenders, the counter and fridges clean and sanitised

• Check dates daily, rotate stock first in, first out, and remove anything spoiled

• Set up before service and hand over properly at shift change

• Request what you need through the requisition process and tell the manager on duty the moment an item runs out

What we are looking for

• At least 1 year as a juice maker, barista or counter staff in a busy café, juice bar or restaurant

• Confident with commercial juicers and blenders

• Accurate to the recipe card every time, not by eye

• Good food hygiene habits — clean as you go

• Good English. Arabic is a plus.

• Calm under pressure and pleasant with guests

• Must be in Bahrain now, on a transferable visa

• Valid Bahrain food handler card, or able to obtain one
